Swim meets, they are a ballet, in the water and out
Faces tell a tale, “I dropped 2!!”

“It was too hot, and I swallowed”
“Kyle is not going to like this”

The Valley met on a Beacon hill
It was 100, “but its long course”
“Don’t you feel hot?” .. “Don’t have a choice!”
The yellow vests are herding parents

But it was also the day of the final
Surya pulled a blinder, and dads pirouetted like excited dervish
skillfully scooping cheese into nachos

So it was over, the water ants came down the hill
though, I was still high on Hitman’s trophy.

Valley Christian high school was gracious to host a wonderful swim meet for all the local San Jose swim clubs. It was touching a 100 over the weekend, but relentless hard work helped the event go off wonderfully. It’s a spacious well laid out campus, on a hill near the highway. The views and the pool are beautiful.
